Psychotherapy and Counselling in Oxford
Welcome to my website - for online counselling and psychotherapy sessions meeting on Zoom.
My name is yvonne Noble. I am an experienced, fully qualified integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, accredited and registered with the United Kingdom for Psychotherapy (UKCP), which ensures the highest standard of training and professional conduct. With 18 years of extensive experience, I have worked with people from all walks of life either as a psychotherapist or counsellor. Late afternoon appointments may be possible. During these difficult times, I am also offering short-term (six weeks up to six months) therapy or counselling for a reduced fee for those on low incomes. Please contact me to discuss .
I currently invite my clients, both young and older adults, to work online with Zoom. This process is quite straightforward in that, we would first either email each other or speak on the 'phone and agree a day and time to meet; I would then send you a link to our Zoom meeting; you would need a computer or tablet with a microphone and video .
I work with a range of issues and the following are just some of the areas you may wish to explore:
loss or bereavement
loss of direction
feelings of isolation
unresolved childhood difficulties
a search for meaning in your life
How can Psychotherapy and Counselling help?
You might be considering either psychotherapy or counselling for any number of reasons. It might be that you are going through a difficult period in your life and have come to a point where you could do with some support or simply with someone to talk with. Psychotherapy and Counselling provide a safe place where you can talk with someone who is not involved in your own life and provides an opportunity to explore any difficulties you may be having, helping you to gain insight and understanding into your thoughts and feelings.
The difference between Psychotherapy and Counselling
Psychotherapy and counselling come in many forms; in practice, they tend to overlap. In counselling our work together may be short-term to support you through a crisis and would be more problem focused. Psychotherapy provides a safe space to explore personal issues in more depth and would therefore take longer.
Where is my practice?
